Patients become eligible for hospice when it is determined that they have an incurable disease and life limiting illness. The overall mission of Sierra Hospice is to improve quality care in the home with a goal to maintain dignity and comfort for our patients.
When curative treatment is no longer an option, hospice care becomes a valuable and compassionate choice for patients, offering a wealth of emotional and physical support to both patients and their families. Hospice care encompasses a comprehensive range of services, including medical, pharmaceutical, social, and spiritual support. Our dedicated team is committed to providing holistic care that addresses the unique needs of each individual and their loved ones during this challenging time.

Where do I even begin?? First off let me state I’m not one to write reviews, but this one is well deserved! Let me start off with my sincere gratitude for Sarah and her Team Tamasha, Amber, Shylah and Scott. I can’t express enough of how much help they were from day one all the way until even after my Dad passed away.
They help my sister, her fiancé Adam, myself and my fiancé Casey so much when we were in over our heads trying to take turns caring for my Dad and try to keep our full time steady jobs.
Here’s an idea of how much this Company offers along with their loving care and consistency. They have helped from having Nurse Tamasha and Assistant Nurse Amber come every other day to sit with my Dad to keep him company or even go on walks with him, taking his vitals, making sure he was eating and taking his medications. Cleaning up, making sure or getting more supplies to care for my Dad. All of this being done and keeping us updated and in the loop of when they were there, what they did, how my Dad was doing that day and any signs they were noticing about him and his decline. When it came towards the end we had to move him in a 24 hour memory care unit, they had no problems following my Dad to his new home to help continue the care for him. At that time, they were coming more frequently to check on him and his health.
Along with having Caplin Scott come to his new home, he sat there with him and gave his comfort and company with the following things whether it was reading or talking to him, playing games, coloring or singing to him.
All of this and any help we needed as per our jobs; Shylah handled the forms and gave us the help we needed fast. Along with Sarah continuously being there for us whenever we had questions when we were clueless and in a jumble of how to handle all of what was on our plate, she helped greatly in this process whenever we needed her! Just as her entire team did with so much love and support!
Thank you again to our “Care Team” as we called them, we are forever grateful for the never ending care and support you gave our Dad and my family!

I have to say I could not be more pleased with this company. I feel so blessed to have found them. I would highly recommend this company. Everyone is so kind and caring. Really cannot say enough.
